These struts fit well using existing mounts. However the instructions could be more clear. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to mount the lower bracket. As it turns out, the struts are connected to an existing hood hinge mount. You need to remove the hood hinge bolt, mount the strut bracket on top of the hinge mount, and replace the bolt into its original location.

Once installed, the hood opens higher than when using the OEM prop rod. The struts also assist with opening for those of us who are a bit on the smaller side. You almost don't have to lift it all.

The durability is difficult to assess because we have only recently installed the hood struts. Broncos - never break down - so this should not be an issue. ??

For the ability to easily lift the hood above my head at my diminutive stature alone, I find the value well worth asking price.

Although I love the outcome, this was by a easy as the video made it apear. I also had to guess the location of the bolt removal for the lowet because the video wasn't as clear. The spot in my truck was tucked under some wires on both sides making it a challenge to access.

For the connection on the hood I had to wedge the hardware into the hole in order to tighten with a wrench. That took some time and patience.

Installing the hydraulic takes some force. Don't be afraid to press it in. In the video the person is using some real effort.

After all that everything works beautifully and I'm glad I installed it. It opens smoothly and soft close. It fits perfectly and the bar doesn't get in the way of work. The hydraulic opens the hood quickly.

If you have patience it's worth the install and easily worth the cost

Works great! Easy install! This product is good quality, materials are thick and strong. This comes with all the screws and nuts needed for installation. It took my husband just a few minutes for installation. This works perfectly, holding the weight of the hood with ease. The size was perfect for my Bronco. This is a great value- this is a product you'll use over and over throughout the use of the vehicle- that makes this very much worth the price, which is also on par for the product. The look is a thousand times better than the manufacturer little prop up things.

Like many Bronco owners I was disappointed when I popped the hood of my new Bronco to find out that I had to use a hood prop to keep the hood up. This was the perfect kit to relieve some of my frustrations. This kit comes with all the hardware needed to install hood struts on your Bronco. The included instructions are very vague but all you have to do is scan the QR code and it'll direct you to a simple and easy to follow installation video. Once I had this installed the hood struts kept the hood up without the hood prop and it was a breeze to open and close. This is one of those must haves for any Bronco owner!

Excellent! Very easy to install as the instructions were very clear. Installation also took a total of maybe 15 minutes, so not at all difficult. I will say that it easily holds the weight of the hood without fear of it falling at all. It also lifts the hood once unlatched and you give it a little movement upward. The nice thing I didn't even consider is the nicety of being able to actively work in the engine without having to dodge the prop rod. That alone is a great adder when your leaning over the middle of the engine. This is a great product if you work on your car at all. Well worth the investment!

Easy to install, great price point and an item that should be stock. Glad I bought it.
